Integrating Sound Into Your Healing Practice
At The Nest in Woodstock, NY.
Increasingly, massage therapists, Reiki practitioners, hypnotherapists, yoga therapy instructors, and others in the healing arts have been intrigued by the idea of incorporating sound into their existing practice.
Every culture, ancient and modern, has incorporated song/chant, drums and rattles, and sacred singing metals in their religious and healing ceremonies. The recognition of the power of certain sounds to affect consciousness was at the heart of rituals throughout history. I have been exploring sound as a healing/meditative modality for 4 decades. In the past 25 years, this field has expanded exponentially with a considerable uptick in the number of people offering experiences and training in sound healing. Learn practical techniques as well as theory from my decades of experience in these two power-packed days.
